| mentality is, most times, on the opposite side of the spectrum than the majority of people here. Having said that, there are people who chrome, polish, paint, or anodize parts of the car that a normal road-going car wouldn't have done on it. It boils down to money and time. If one has the means to chrome the exhaust side of the turbo - more power to them. These are typically the same people who place mirrors under their cars for show-goers to see the results of their work. And unless the car is trailered to shows, these same people spend a good portion of their free time underneath the car cleaning and polishing all these bits rather than enjoying the car as it was meant to be enjoyed (IMLTHO) I think doing something like this would yield little in the way of more points in a show unless the car is jacked up at a high enough angle to provide show-goers and judges a good view of the turbos. It just serves as another example of someone trying to be unique in a way that makes little or no sense. And to illustrate my point: A trip down memory lane when Wagz chromed a brick:
See? It can be done, but it's still a brick and isn't worth the time and effort spent to chrome it. Dave
