My Z is currently in the shop being fitted, primed, and painted w/ the 2000 Fairlady Z front end fiberglass copy from Unique Auto Sports. With the front end I also purchased the authentic Fairlady Z "smoked" indicators. Here in lies the problem... They are ONLY turn signals. As in there is NO parking light in them. They have a single bulb setup unlike the US indicators and cleared JDM indicators which both have a parking light bulb and a turn signal bulb. So... As far as I know... you have to have the turn signal flash amber to be legal. That's not a problem... BUT I'm pretty sure most states here in the US (if not a national DOT law) we're supposed to have "marker" lights which mark the front corner of the vehicle... Which I will now not have. Were do you think I stand on this? Should I just leave it and see what happens? Should I try and tap a bulb in there to just "illuminate" as the US corner markers do? What other options might I have? I thought about getting the cleared DSpeed fender lights through Oppaman, or the Amber ones from Courtesy... But I'd rather not spend the extra cash buying them and having them installed. What do you all think? Can I get away with not having those extra bulbs?
