Message Well, she's been on jackstands for quite some time now but we finally lowered her to the ground today. I've got to say thanks to Mike Smith for coming out and helping pull the turbo to get the broken studs out. He really was a lot of help.

Alex (DoodMon) came over today and helped finish her up. We got the downpipes and clutch installed and then threw her back together.

The sucky part is that I STILL haven't been able to drive it. Now I am having a horrible idle issue. It is so bad that the car won't even stay on. I'm idling between 600-800 RPM's. As far as we can tell, all grounds were put back on. I really have no idea what it could be. On top of all of that, my multimeter showed my battery go from 12V to 4V is about 30-40 seconds as soon as the jumper was removed. I guess I'll have to start researching things in Search now.

I guess hoping to drive it before my 6 month deployment was too much to ask. Looks like I won't be driving her until November. :(

Never Play Leapfrog With A Unicorn!!!

Do yourself a favor and just worry about your own car. I don't see what everyone is so worried about anyway. If someone else wants to perform a modification that you believe will destroy the value, cheapen the Z32 or whatever you can't sit on your hands about, wouldn't that make your tastefully-modified, white bread Z32 more rare and valuable? -- BradZ (FL) on December 23, 2007 at 12:19 PM
