Message	make it a bad car. But you shouldn't be paying a premium for it either. I 50,000 mile car shouldn't need a repaint. I don't think that car is worth that much if it was in a major accident and has had a lot of body work to restore it. If you are still interested in the car, I strongly suggest you have someone take a close inspection to see whether they can determine if there are signs of major damage. As far as pricing goes, look it up on kbb, nada and edmunds and price it out as an average car. I wouldn't pay anymore than that. And be willing to walk away from a bad deal. It sounds like you are walking into a bad deal from here.
