Message	or jetta TDI diesel is very realistic for mixed driving avg. The cost of diesel will even out with gas over the summer and TDIs hold their resale value very well. I also link to an article which compared the jetta TDI vs. the prius and the jetta comes out on top. If you can wait until this summer, the next gen Jetta TDI comes out with mid 50s mileage and the most power yet.
