| $1500 of "reserve money sitting in an emergency account" is really not a lot of money. If God forbid you should go through even a minor emergency, that money would vaporize in the blink of an eye. Don't listen to "get an IPP engine from Kyle". As great as that would be, you're not in a financial situation that can allow it. Put the Z aside until you have enough disposable income to throw away the $5k minimum that this'll cost you. Get a $1,000 beater in the meantime if you must. Concentrate on graduating and finding a good job, then all the pieces will be lined up. /End grandpa advice.
