Message Well, I usually stay out of this cluster but I will offer up that all of my personal experiences with Z1 have been very good. Along with some terrific TTNet community members such as Harry (ZTuner) and Ric (HaloZ); Russell and a few of the guys at Z1 have also been very helpful in getting my car back where it needed to be. I've had no billing or customer service issues, to the contrary everything has been very above board and often even more reasonable then the rates charged by some of the local shops we work with.

My buddy Andy who lives in Atlanta did have an issue where he did not get his core charge refund back, but with a call they were able to get him squared away even as many as 4 years after the fact.

So, everyone's experiences being what they are, those are mine. I won't tell you to go do all of the work your self because I understand that often even as enthusiasts we lack the time to devote to such undertakings or a mechanical aptitude. There is certainly no shame in having your car worked on by someone more knowledgeable in their repair than you and conversely there is certainly merit and accolade in doing it yourself as well. Just 2 sides of the same coin, really. Something along the lines of, those who can't do, research. ;-)
