Subject	What does everyone suggest as a good first car?

Message	I'm 17 w/ a part-time job that doesn't pay too much (only $5.40 an hour but I average around 25 hours a week). And assuming I am not able to get a Z, what else does everyone suggest would be a good car? I don't care too much about that year of the car, but I want one that looks nice and has some power. Also, preferably under $12,000 since I have will have some inheritence money.
