Message You can go to any tool rental shop and rent a cherry picker for about $20 bucks.

Unbolt the tension rods, A/C line and PS hose, and the steering shaft. Support the engine with the hoist, and then unbolt the cross member and lower the engine down. Depending on the height you have the Z jacked up to, you may have to place some wood blocks or something under the cross member to provide a "false floor" support.

From the top, you should really only have to un-bolt the boost hoses, the radiator top hose, the PS resevoir from the body of the car (that should do it) and watch all the electrical and vaccuum lines as you lower. Its easier than it sounds...trust me.

You should then have all the room in the world to work on the turbos and not worry about pulling the whole thing. and you would be able to get a drill in there nice and square to drill out and extract those bolts.

You could also get away with this whole process without a hoist if you had a heavy duty tranny jack, that lowered enough...say 6-8 inchs when compressed.

Just my 2 cents.
