what I mean by "peak rms" is that that is my total added rms and that is max the entire system would see if it were pushed to it's ultimate rms power. I see people all the time that say that have a 1500w system. That rating is for an amp running on 2ohm and peak power, which would mean the 4ohm rms setting they have is about 375w. That is a 375w system to me. I will have 650rms setup for each sub, 150 each front woofer, and 50 each tweeter with no rear fill. It will all be set with the gain properly using a test tone and dmm. That is a 1700w system to me. It is capable of 3400w if every amp was driven to full potential at the same time. That is also not the full potential of the amps since I don't want to max out the gain and send a clipped signal.
