Message If it were my build, I'd def go with 740ccs or higher. However, Brad's been racing and building Z motors for years, and I think he pretty much goes by experience. Guys on this forum were telling him he was boosting too high for stock injectors years ago, yet he never leaned his motor out and raced it repeatedly. Since he does have motors lying around his shop, I think he'd rather learn from experience and take the risk.

Again, I've seen numbers here, and I've seen Brad's numbers. Build for build, they don't match; Brad's duty cycle on stock injectors was at peak, not leaned out, similar to the guys running 14-15psi on stock turbos/injectors, yet he was running higher psi (16-17). It's never really made much sense to me, but I can't argue with the data in front of me.

Personally, I'd build it the way I've seen it done here, using larger injectors just to be on the safe side. But Brad's been doing it much longer and with great success, so I can't really argue with the man.

Cheers,
JBrobst
