It is really not about pros and cons. It is about responsiblity. You are 18 years old, what do you plan to do with the rest of your life? College, work, have mommy and daddy support you? Ever since I was able to work I have held at least 2 jobs. Currently I am on payroll at 3 places. You have a decision to make here, you can continue to do what you can to get by or you can go that extra step and start to prepare for your future. Don't sink every penny you have into the Z, instead stick it into a mutual fund or stock. That way you are doing both. Even if it is only $25.00 a paycheck. At least you are saving. But I would definitely recommend the second job! It will give you not only more money but more responsibility, and look at the bright side, as long as you are at work making money you cannot be out SPENDING money. See how that works. Good luck.
