I think anodized parts are awesome. Highly resistant to the elements, and can take on literally any color short of white. All aluminum parts in the first pic are at the very least clear anodized, short of the gold cranks which are teflon coated chromoly. It's actually amazing how many commercial products are anodized when you think about it... Random. .
