| I was asking him if his install was the correct way b/c summits website showed the opposite way. "You want the feed tube to expel extra fluid from the bottom when the radiator heats up, then to suck that same fluid back into the radiator when it cools down due to fluid contraction. On the top, you can either leave it open, or choose to put a valve like I did. If you put a valve there, make sure it remains open to allow the air to escape when the reservoir fills with water." His way seemed to make sense, and I've had mine like that for a year now.
