Message Well, I think a little background on me is needed first. Got my first Z in 1993, my dad bought me a 280ZX 2+2, then it progressed into a 1986 300ZX, and now a 1983 280ZXT. For the past 5 years, my goal has been to own a 90+ Twin Turbo. I've worked hard, took classes, and studied my way up the Information Tech. food chain. It's been a struggle the past couple of years, because no matter what, I just couldn't afford to get one. Well, it's been 4 years since I got married, and now the pitter patter of little feet will not be too far away. Right now we have a Maxima, and Accord and my 280ZXT. I've thought of trading the Accord in, and getting a 300ZXTT, but since I drive 100 miles round trip a day, the wife would have to drive the 300ZX to work. One reason this is bad, it's not good for a baby to be in the front seat. The other is, when we have two kids, well that one is easy to figure out....ride in Maxima all the time, no time for the 300ZX. If i could afford 4 cars then that would be the solution, but I surely can't. I thought of getting the 300ZX anyway and then buying her a family car before the 2nd child(sell 280zx) and then have "family car", maxima, and 300ZXTT. But after alot of thought I've decided to go with a 3000GT or a Stealth twin turbo. It seems really weird to want something so bad for so long and then get something else. It seems like the most "bang for the buck". A little use of the back seats, they are a little cheaper, and if we can't afford a 2nd family car with 2 kids, at least I still got a performance car that we can all fit it (even if it's a tight fit!). Sorry to keep this so long, most of you probably can't relate...since I don't see many people posting about this sorta stuff. Well, I'm still gonna hang around the best car board on the net! If anybody has experience with the 3000GT Vr-4 or the Stealth TT, particularly how they compare with the TT (performance, quality, shifting, etc.), then let me know...I need some reassurance! Wish me luck in the future, I hope everything turns out at least half right!!!!!!!!
