| I didn't realize it has been nearly 2 months since I posted anything here. My last post touched on the subject of selling the Z. Since then I bought a little DD for my commute and parked the Z in the garage. I've been spending the mornings with my 9 month old daughter and haven't done anything with the Z other than start it twice in 2 months. I've missed driving the Z but I haven't missed the fuel bill. Each day on my way to work I'm watching fuel prices going up steadily, but that's another subject. I really forgot how much fun it was to drop a tranny by myself. I managed to get the tranny out and the one I bought from Gordo back in before leaving to work at noon. Everything went well and I just have to reconnect the driveshaft and reinstall the center exhaust section. Now that I'm not doing the DD thing in the Z anymore I'm going to spend some time under the car and get it looking nice again. Not as nice as Gordo's but mine does need the DD road grime removed. I've got more work to do while it's up in the air but the trans was the Lions share.
