Message	2 coats of clear maybe 3 if they just want it to lay down a little bit better....and brands of paint thats all personal opinion alot of people use chromobase base with nason clear its a cheaper pretty good looking way to go.....and if you got the cash go to more of a top of a line paint. Just talk to the shops they will have all the info you need
