| Well, I realized the other day that I am becoming a lurker and thought that I would chime in with a little something that I have been working on with the Z. Just recently, I finished doing an SR swap on my 240SX coupe (which is actually for sale at the moment) and I also did the auto to manual conversion. There is a company out there that sells a braided stainless steel line long enough to reach from the clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder. It is to ease the cost and work involved in sourcing the needed hoses, lines, etc. when doing the swap. On the 240, I have had nothing but great things to say about this product. 240sxmotoring.com website
SO...a couple weeks ago I ordered another one, to go ahead and give it a go on my Z. I have already (in the past) removed the upper clutch line, and had the T block capped. But this new line simplifies things even more. Additionally, I installed a brand new OEM pedal that I have had laying around FOREVER and never put in.

I have to say that the pedal feel is absolutely amazing. I am very excited about my new setup. Been running an RPS on my old equip, and even with it adjusted to the extreme limits (as per GD) the engaugement was still just off the floor. I now have engaugement to the lower part of center and it feels awesome. I post this as merely info, to anyone out there that is considering an auto to manual swap. This product works, and is a perfect fit. Better still, can be installed no problems wit the engine in. Or if you are considering getting rid of the upper line and want to clean up your bay a little, this is the perfect way to get started. Just thought that I would share. And since its been forever, here is a preview of things to come this weekend at The Natioinals. FINALLY...after years of waiting and being stationed overseas...and tours in Iraq...and what not...I finally can make it to a Z event. Z you there
