haha!!! That is really some funny shit you are talking about man. Everytime I tried to explain something to you (try my best to help a fellow Zer), you will always try to drift away from what I am trying to tell you.And best of all, saying that I have no idea what I am talking about. Tranny mount, diff bushing? Hahaha... I guess you are a NVH consultant engineer also? Let me tell you again. And this time, listen and think. Our tranny mount and engine mount, has certain durometer (I bet you don't know what is that mean). Basically is how hard/soft the rubber is. They will filter out the vibration from the powertrain to the interior so that we don't feel vibration. These mounts are tuned to certain frequecy. (God I hope you know what frequency means). When you have drivetrain vibration issue after modifying your car (powertrain system to be accurate), the mounts will just be not effective anymore. thus you will feel the vibration. Now, that is not what I have been talking about. regarding to my reply to twinturbopete, I said operating your car in this vibrating condition will eventually cause the tranny and diff to fail (fatigue!) The engine, tranny, diff mount cannot absord this vibration because they are not placed between the d/shaft and the tranny and the diff. They (the mounts) are placed between the tranny and the body and between the diff and the body. the tranny,d/shaft and diff are DIRECTLY connected! Whatever the d/shaft vibrate, the tranny and diff will suffer directly. Before you say I am wrong again, go look under your Z. Try to locate the mounts. Try to find a rubber mount between the tranny and the slip yoke of the d/shaft. You will find nothing is there. Got that? I have no intention to insult you or anyone at this forum. I am just trying to help, base on what I know and what I can do. And if you think you cannot handle the truth, I can just shut my big ass mouth. Sorry for any misunderstading. I guess if someone start talking about some quality of the leather for the shift boot without any knowledge of quality leather, you will try your best to "educate" him too. I am sorry for all the BS I said. My intention was good but somehow it ended up me being a bad guy. Guess you just don't want to learn more about the cause of your vibration. My bad. appology from me again.
