it. If only one person ever made an offer, and it was 2k, that would be your best offer. Period. Would you sell it for that? NO. So you don't REALLY mean OBO. In all my car shopping, I have quit even calling on ads that say OBO UNLESS they also give a minimum and a date. Like "OBO over 11,500 by next Friday". Otherwise, they are just playing games. Why not try advertising the car at the lowest price you are willing to take, period. You should know what that is to be able to negotiate anyway. Nobody in their right mind is going to pay your 12,500 when you have OBO in the ad. I would much rather see an ad that priced it at 11,750 firm. Then I would know the final price in advance, and only have to determine if I felt it was worth it.
