I bought 4 rotors and 2 are still in the box in my storage. Why? Because I didn't even look the rotors before buying them. Once I looked at the front rotors, they were perfect with no grooves or wear patterns and lot's of pad left. I put the wheel back on and have 2 rotors + pads in milk crate waiting for the day to use them. Therefore, if you're just wanting to put spend $$$, go on and buy all 4. If you want to replace when appropriate, then you need to inspect the rotors for grooves first. If you can run your finger nail across the rotor and it's rough and grooved, then replace it. If you press the brake pedel going about 50mph and the steering wheel shakes, then replace it. If you want to help the economy, replace it. Else, keep it. (Disclaimer: Make sure rotor is COLD before touching it)
