ok. you must remove the clips that hold the facia on, then unscrew the screws. the entire centre consol will come out and then you will see it's easy to unbolt the head unit. you may need an adapter for your new stereo, but you should be able to just splice the wires and it will work fine. as for the speakers..it depends what you are putting in. i used the bose housings but routed them out to fit 6 1/2" speakers. then i rewired the whole car. you can take out the bose amps or leave them in, its up to you. there is one in each housing unit in the doors and in the rears. you will have to remove all the trunk interior to properly get at the rear speakers, but it's not too hard. when you take off the doors....BE CAREFUL NOT TO BREAK THE CLIPS!!! they are very easy to fuckup. good luck. email me if you need more.
