Most TTs for sale are in some need of restoring. Those that are really expensive to begin with don't need anything. Keep in mind TTZ's aren't cheap, but most can't warrent a high price given the condition they are in and that my friend, is the sad truth. That is why Z's seem more affordable (than other cars) which is resulting in poorer condition Z's due to each ignorant, progressive owner. Eventually, any TT brought to mint running status will cost about the same, perhaps more if a project (Unless you can do all the labor). The one thing to remember is the mint ones going for more are still original at the end. They are authentic, if that matters to you at all. Either way, good luck,
