Message There has been enough posted about this subject that can be substantiated (like a set of pictures showing variances from .129" to as little as .006") that a rational person can make a decision based on their own personal morality. It is not all tag alongs. Are there tag alongs? Yes. On both sides? Yes. Does it suck? Yes. Is that the story of humanity? Yes. Can Z1 use tag along-ism in the same way? Yes. Does it matter in the original context of my reply to Dee? No. Here is why:

In all probability the VTD of the classifieds came of individuals (as supported by the news post statement) who saw what was going on and chose to vote against the Z1 posts. To the end of demonstrating the individual nature of the classified deletions it doesn't matter why they chose that or how they got introduced to the idea because it was the unorganized and uncoordinated individual who decided to click the button. Z1 on the other hand created accounts with the singular intention of using a group attack to delete posts and this reached out to non-affiliates to gain further strength for this (as seen in Jodecy's post).

By your herd mentality argument the "core", and I repeat that I severely doubt any kind of organized group exists, is guilty of...what? Creating a movement that is popular and gains the support of non-affiliated people? Even if there was "core" that knew they could rely on a herd mentality to VTD posts they still didn't coordinate anything, create any accounts or ask anyone to delete posts. People simply saw what was going on and decided to participate. Whether or not they did it with a logical base for their decision is not relevant the fact that one group was organized and other was a grass roots collective that saw a way to express how they felt about an issue. However having said all of that I'm sure that there are many people who saw both sides, thought about and came to their own decision which was followed by throwing in support to which ever side better suited their opinion.

THUS, getting back to the original point: what the people VTD'ing did != what Z1 did.

Oh and I think I've seen a whopping three people with the anti-AMS stamp in their sig, guess that just means I'm not on here enough right?
