:Z1 to close? No. They provide a reasonable service to members far and wide :Z1 to not sell AMS stuff? Depends... and it's all heresay.
If Z1 provided MS manifolds to AMS to copy, or is in anyway in cahoots with AMS in that regard, then YES.
If Z1 is being falsly linked to AMS simply because they provide parts to one another to sell, then NO.
I think AMS should be ashamed of themselves for what they have done. But that's not what the question was :Z1 to not be a TTnet sponsor? No. :Z1 to only sell the original design of parts?Yes.
If the part is identical to something Kuah or SZ or anyone else has made, then I think it should be considered off limits, or in bad taste, from a community stand point. This is a small community. The more companies that become "big business" or have aspirations as such, the further apart the communtity gets. Thats the big picture answer. I think Z1s antics of late are hurting the community in the long run. If the rumor and heresay stuff are shown true, then its worse then I thought (dare I say, "monopolize Z parts".)
I do not discount the aspect of "hey, we need to make a buck or two", or "hey, we can make it more affordable to folks"... I dont have much of an argument in cheap people wanting cheap parts. I'm in the same boat, everyone wants a deal.
