Message All the turbo kits you mention are not replacements for an existing turbo setup so they do not have to meet the "BOLT ON" stanadard that a lot of people on this board made up. These kits come with different turbos, intake piping, exhaust downpipes etc.
It was said that a sucessful manifold needs to work with existing intake piping and exhaust piping. In other words there was NO flexibility to move the collector area. The "other" option was criticised as not being a true bolt on.

The only way AMS could suceed was to make minor changes in the runners and flanges. Not much room to do that if the collector cannot be moved. AMS is a copy of the MS in concept and execution just like the MS is a copy of the stocker in concept and execution. Unfortunately it was only a matter of time before this happened.

Further, a lot of Cpark designs are copies af other japanese products in concept with slight changes. same with SPL. while they are not DEAD ON copies they are 99 % there. It all boils down to who is being hurt and what what voice they have on TT.net . Sad reality of the world we live in
