Message so i couldnt sleep and no light outside therefore i cant work on the z (as some of you may know i got her back from the insurance company (91tt), stolen, and im doing a valve job on the engine and some other interior work)
so the funny stuff
im cleaning some of the things that are off the car, and i get to the "airbox". Im wiping it down and all of a sudden i see three letters appear.. HKS... im like no &*(^ way. GEees of all the luck. Ive never seen a photo of a stock airbox, no one takes them, they only take photos of the beautiful shiny chrome and colored intakes, and allways thought that what i had was what it looks like.. hehe so now i have an hks intake (the woman i got the car from never told me anything and i didnt bother asking with the price i was getting (cheap, WWAAAAAAY cheap). So i figure why not check for other things... i go outside and look at my exhaust with a flash light. It looks quite stock from the tips but they allways had these little covers that i thought were from pep boys or r&s strauss, etc. I look under the car.. woah they're welded tips, z's didnt come stock with that, after some more crawling, ITS NOT A FACTORY EXHAUST... woooohoooo, i just went to stage ___ what the hell is with these stages? all i know is im NOT STOCK... overnight my Z is a stage something.. hehe...
sorry for the ramblings im very excited right now.... and probably quite incoherent considering that its past 5am. Just thougt id share.

Ohh one more thing. I have light scratches over the WHOLE car, apparently when the insurance company had the car they had a tarp over it that had sand or dirt or whatever on it, so the whole car is covered in hazy like scratches. Whats the best thing to use to take them out, cover them up? i cant afford a paint job right now (poor college student with a TT), what do you guys recommend?
