I'm just curious if anyone knows why there doesn't seem to be hardly any group buys on twinturbo.net anymore? At least they seem to have become very rare. Is it because the vendors simply aren't offering them? Is this just the wrong time of year? Is the advertising cost on here too expensive? As i recall, it's only $50 for a 30 day group buy, so that can't be it, assuming my figures are correct. Do we (the members) have to approach the manufacturers with our proposed group buys, or what we want to have group buys on & run them ourselves? Just wondering if there is something that myself, or the other members can do to help make them happen more often. 300zxclub.com has 2 different group buys each month, & the 2 items that go on group buy each month are voted on by the members. Of course, the only things that even make it to the voting are items that are offered by the site sponsors. It seems that over there, Z1 seems to be sponsoring most of the group buys. Since they are a major sponsor here too, maybe we could do something similar here? It's just about spring, & I know that I, for one, have a bunch of money waiting to go into my Z to get it ready for summer. Seems like a good time to have some group buys. Does anyone have some suggestions on how to get some group buys going, who to talk to, or what would be the top candidates for performance parts for group buys if we were to figure out who to talk to, or how to get some going?
