Message	not a street race, so you could have a chance to get out of it, IF witnesses testify in your behalf that you had nothing to do with two idiots illegally street racing. But in this case, the gathering was for the "illegal" race, so anyone involved in organizing and/or participating in the event could get hit wit a law suit or criminal charges.
