Message	the fact of the matter is: Your wife should not have taken your car to an unknown body shop without someone with basic knowledge in the field doing a minimum amount of research to pick a competant shop. Granted that the gesture is a nice one, but the bottom line is that this mess is your fault for bypassing the due diligence process.
