I'm well aware of the principle and functionality behind intercoolers. Although the mesh cut-outs are not ideal for optimizing airflow to my IC's, they serve my weekend driving purposes just fine...i.e.- My Z is not my DD, and she rarely gets out of the garage these days. On occasional jaunts such as the aforementioned one, the boost is set low and I don't push the Z like I do at the track...I merely stretch her legs a little - more fun to lean on the suspension on those country roads. When I do make it out to a track day, I remove the side markers for better flow, while keeping the boost relatively low, and haven't had any problems whatsoever thus far. With that said, I'm not arguing your point b/c you speaketh the truth sir. As I mentioned before in numerous posts, I will be making a change for the better in the near future...and yes, my engine and my turbo's will thank me for it :-) ...If there was such a thing as a "Zocial worker" - you'd be a good one ;-)
