RPS looked into upgrading the 350 plate and realized it was a much better solution to start with a better plate that was made to handle more clamp load already. When RPS first addressed HIGH HP Z applications when nothing else was holding, they went too high with the clamp load and the Z slave cylinder could not handle it. The first try at getting it to work was a different slave. They figured out the better solution was to move the pivot point of the casting and that was done MANY years ago. No issues with release and cylinder problems since they moved the pivot point of the casting.
