Message slick top TT. I flew down to Tampa and did an inspection and test drive of it. Only a couple of minor details that my guy is going to fix and then it will be on a transport out to Denver where it will have to sit in the garage for another month or two. The only things I could find not perfect were the hood was just slightly off, it needs to be moved over maybe an 1/8 of an inch towards the pasenger side, and the throttle bodies weren't powder coated.
The wheels were refinished and they came out perfect, they look like they just came out of the box new.
Anyway here is how it came in to being: I wanted a slick top TT so we found a '96 slick top that was wrecked in the front that had very low miles on it. And here is the progression of 2 years work.

First look of the wrecked car.

New front end grafted on.

Time for paint and fitment of body panels

Here is how we modified the rear Brembo calipers to fit, we moved over one of the mounting tabs

And the finished product

We molded in the Stillen lip, so because of that we aren't going to put the black strip in around the rest of the car

I decided I liked the bone colored 350 Z seats better with the color of the car to help break up the solid black interior.

Here you can see where the throttle bodies didn't get done, we're also going to paint the throttle cable cover body color as well

And at the request of my wife after she saw the pictures I am going to add a '94+ wing as well.
I was very happy to finally get to drive it after so long, it was a whole lotta fun, I guess I'm finally a member of the dark side.
