Message	that they are prone to failure on common basis. My friend owns a speed shop and sells SPALs or use to sell them. He has had several come back after short usage . Even Ash admitted that he had to down grade the CFM to more reliable model. Both fans are made by SPAL. Go figure? All the indications on the Taurus fans seem to be positive of it's performance and reliability ( do a search). I did see on a site that sold new OEM fans where it listed the technical data of the fans MTBF. You can always buy a new fan as well .
