Unless the judge is unfair, he or she will require more technical details than that.Example: I once got out of a speeding ticket because the officer testified that he observed me quickly leave a red light at an intersection and then followed me and pulled me over just a few moments later for doing 51 in a 35. However, he had written the location of the infraction as the intersection of the streets where he first saw me. The judge noted that by the officer's own testimony I could not have been speeding at that time. Case dismissed. However, if he would have written "300 yds east on xxx street from the intersection of yyy street" I would have been convicted. It's often the little things that matter, especially in a court of law.
