Message	Take the pistons out and check the ring lands very throughly for cracks, then hone, re-ring and install new bearing at the very least. You can tell nothing about the condition of the TT pistons by looking at the tops. The ring lands are the week spots. Going for the gold? Stock TT pistons suck! Get a set of Weisco Pistons and then send the motor out for a hone and balance job. putting the bottom end back together with new pistons and bearing takes 1 day.
