Message The routing is very important as well. I am working on the routing part and will document and test it on my car. I use to work on heavy equipment earth movers right after high school. Most of the oil filters and fuel filters are mounted remotely. The only time you have a leak is from lines improperly routed so that they rub against a solid object like the frame . Lines have to be secured with mounting loops so that there is no rubbing or movement. Also you have to design in some slack in certain parts. I did the same thing when I designed my braided fuel line systems with my dual pumps. My car has braid lines from the tank to the rail. The fuel filter is huge and under the car.
