Message	1. the oil filter sandwhich adapter i have has a larger size thread for the oil filter... and... 2. i haven't found anyone who can answer the question...why are there 50+ sizes of oil filters on the shelf at auto parts stores---what measurable parameter will change if you tested multiple different sized oil filters on the same engine there has to be someone here smart enough to answer this!?! maybe there is no significant difference---just a metal can with filter media inside---liquid is non-compressable---how much effect can there really be on the engine---not pertaining to the quality of the filter media
