On the way to the store the other night. I was pulling up to a light where there was a Mazda mx-6 and a Honda civic about to have a go at it. Well, being curious, I watched from a distance(have new clutch can't play:-(anyway) They take off, front tires spinning, lawn mower sounding exhaust playing notes Miles Davis would be proud of, to come around the corner to a group of cops who had some guy in a mustang pulled over and had the guy out on the hood of his car in cuffs. At this point our 2 grade A morons are doing ruffly 60 in a 35, and rather than slowing down like I did, immediately, they keep going thinking the cops are preoccupied. Then they notice two cops on motrcycles about half a block up, who in turn, turn on their lights and take up pursuit. This is when I come to my destination and pull into the convenience store for a pack of smokes. As I jump out of my car a cop pulls up behind me and asks if I was involved, I of course said no. He then asks when they started their little excersise in stupidity, I tell him when I came up on them. He thanks me and mutters something about keeping an eye out for me and my "hot rod." 2 kids+2 much time-brains=jail time. Just a reminder: Where there is one cop there is always another.:-)
