Message	for powdercoating.. You can get away with just using 80grit.. 80grit is nice because it takes alot of material away "fairly quickly".. using only sandpaper makes it a lil' rough.. but if you use some greasless compound with an air tool.... it will make it nice and smooth. I would recommend sanding before powdercoating.. NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture.
