The teens, a 17-year-old driver and a 13-year-old passenger who were both from Lansdale, were transported to Abington Memorial Hospital's trauma center after the 1:15 p.m. accident, said Officer Christian Browne. The 1994 Nissan 300ZX was traveling southbound near Swartley Road when it apparently missed the curve and crashed, Browne said. Speed may have been a factor, he said. The car broke the utility pole, and live wires were dropped onto Hilltown Pike. The road was closed for two hours. The two teens' conditions were not available on Sunday.
