The teens, a 17-year-old driver and a 13-year-old passenger who were both from Lansdale, were transported to Abington Memorial Hospital's trauma center after the 1:15 p.m. accident, said Officer Christian Browne. The 1994 Nissan 300ZX was traveling southbound near Swartley Road when it apparently missed the curve and crashed, Browne said. Speed may have been a factor, he said. The car broke the utility pole, and live wires were dropped onto Hilltown Pike. The road was closed for two hours. The two teens' conditions were not available on Sunday. Browne said their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
