This is sort of in resonse to the post below about gutting the cats, but my question is this: I smell the egg smell when I drive my car hard, which leads me to believe that my cats are clogged. Also, my car does not feel as fast as it should be, even though I've cleaned the throttle bodies and changed the spark plugs. Granted, it's mechanincally stock, but it still doesn't feel like it has 222hp. So is there a way to determine if my cats are clogged? And if they are, would it help to gut them for now? Or should I get hi-flow cats? How much are those? If they are clogged, and I gutted them, would it make the car faster? Thanks! BTW, it may not be my cats that are making the car feel slow... I have the feeling my air filters are dirty as hell. Intake, here I come. I also may wanna check my PCV valves. Also, my exhuast is the shittiest thing ever made. I'm gonna burn it when I get my Greddy.
