Ok... a few questions.. I heard the new Corvettes have no spare tire and instead have run flat tires... I though, AH! what a good idea 8*) I hate changing the tire anyway.. and that way you wouldn't have to carry a spare.. but can you get good performance runflat tires? 2nd.. what do you guy put or think would be cool to put in place of the spare? my dad of course things tools.. (cuz my other cars a 66'saab.. and it NEEDS tools in the back...) But this is a Z.. and if shit breaks.. (NO!!) 98% chance I won't be able to fix it on the side of the road.. I think.. Also... a few days ago I saw some one put a remote radar detector in place of the stock clock... it was a BEL radar detector and looked like the remote part fit in real good..
I've been needing to buy a radar detector for the Z.. I've got a temp on in there attached to to the windsheld just above the rearview mirror but I need a better wiring job if I'm going to put one there... So I was wondering, other cool stuff to replace the stock clock with?? or will I regret replacing it 20 or 30 years latter? 8*) also remote radar detectors? like the BEL? any good?
V1 looks pretty good and I'm thinkign about it... just wondering if another $80 or so is worth it.. Heh... damn... sorry long post and all. guess I'm bored..
