Message	for you to realize it...as it will often just loft around the normal area, instead of reacting to what is actually going on. And if you don't have enough oil to bring up the pressure, it doesn't matter what temp it's at...you have a problem. The stock one is crap, it barely does it's job when working properly. I agree the temp is important, but the water temp guage is at least a better guage than the oil pressure OEM, so it's the first one to go in my books.
