yesterday i switched over to mobil 1 synthetic and today was the first time i could start "ms. lady" cold. i had the "ticking lifter" syndrome and i was hoping that the new oil would help. THIS IS EVEN BETTER THAN I EXPECTED!!! there was no ticking at the start, and after warming up, i couldn't hear the engine at idle from inside the car. took her out on i-10 and only got up to about 90 mph but she was pulling hard. temperature guage shows a decrease in temp (needle was half-way up and now lower), and opg is at a steady 60 psi@3000 rpm (was at around 45 psi and at wot would get 60 psi). now i'm waiting on the REAL TEST, will gas mileage IMPROVE? hope so!!! for those skeptics out there who are yes/no about syn oil, give it a try and you'll be suprised.
