| we're arguing over a tiny advantage in the 1/4 mile, in the order of a tenth of second, in those rare instances where the average Z is raced --- versus the penalty of raising the motor revs by about 500 RPM at highway speeds on a daily basis. In my (humble) opinion, the only way NA-gearing on a TT would make sense would be in conjunction with a taller 6th gear allowing the RPMs to drop back to normal TT levels at highway speeds <-- This holds for anyone making normal usage of his TT, not track-dedicated cars. That would be the only way to reap all the benefits.
