| wider is generally better for improved dry traction, but will be a detriment in wet conditions. I liked Falken Azenis RT-615's in the 275/40/17 size for street use. Yes, they still slipped in 1st, but then again I also run ~470RWHP daily. Slippage could probably be mitigated with gear dependent boost control. I currently am running Toyo RA-1's on the street. They are a race compound DOT legal tire and are very sticky, but I don't expect to get more than 5k miles out of them. I'm glad you find my posts informative, and sorry my GIF is distracting...but it sometimes reflects my frustration with my fellow tt.net members :)
