The car wouldn't go anywhere until I had cash in hand and was sure. Also, if that means waiting until after the 2nd week of January, so be it. He can wait. I'm just not sure on the repurcussions of a bad cashier's check. If the money clears and I have it in hand, can I still get in trouble if it shows up bad afterwards? This is not an insane amount of money and nothing is being reimbursed or forwarded. It appears he is sending $3,500 for a Skyline and then an amount for shipping it. As long as those 2 amounts equal the total, it would seem fine. The shipping money would not come from my bank account while waiting for the check to clear. Everything would happen in cash from the check AFTER it clears and has been removed from my bank and inserted in my wallet (or to a different bank account).

I don't see what everyone is so worried about anyway. If someone else wants to perform a modification that you believe will destroy the value, cheapen the Z32 or whatever you can't sit on your hands about, wouldn't that make your tastefully-modified, white bread Z32 more rare and valuable? -- BradZ (FL) on December 23, 2007 at 12:19 PM The unicorn gets its revenge... -- Scotts94z32 on September 19, 2006 at 11:12 AM CLICK TO PURCHASE THE ZAMA STORAGE FACILITY POSTER!!!
