| He said he would send that in the cashier's check on top of the amount for the car. At that point, I'd take the money and transfer it to the shipping company. No reimbursment would happen. That would be an obvious scam. This could just be a preferred company he uses that he is keeping record of expenses with sicne it is for personal use. See why it could go either way?
