| Of course it's usable - lots of members here have well over 550 RWHP and drive on the streets. yes, bigger turbos = more lag, but lag is a necessity to gaining more on the other side. It's yin and yang.....you can do certain things to lower the amount of lag (upgraded manifolds, porting, etc) but if you really want to push a car to big horsepower you are going to have turbo lag. I was just pointing out to you that sport 500's are very good turbos if you believe that you'll be happy with less than 500RWHP (on a stock-ish motor). If you have any doubt that you will want more power than that in the near future, get bigger turbos now and save yourself the hastle of replacing those sport 500's later.
